The Cranberries’ “Zombie” Reaches One Billion YouTube Views

The Cranberries’ hit “Zombie” has reached a new milestone on YouTube. The video for the song, from their second album “No Need to Argue,” just reached one billion views on the site. They are the first Irish artists to reach such a milestone.

The video, written by the late Dolores O’Riordan, is now the sixth video the 20th century to reach such a milestone. Others include Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” (1992); Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” (1991); Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (1987); A-ha’s “Take On Me” (1985); and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” (1975).
