Stars Celebrate National Dog Day

Yesterday was National Dog Day, so we hope all of you dog moms and dads out there spent plenty of quality time with your pooches. Plenty of celebrities joined in the celebrations by paying tribute to their beloved pups.

That includes Heidi Klum, who marked National Dog Day by welcoming a new furry member to her family, a puppy named Anton! She took to Instagram to share a pic of her new pooch, who’s just five-and-a-half months old.

Besides the supermodel, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Ellen DeGeneres, Michelle Obama and more have taken part in the #NationalDogDay hashtag on social media. And the cast members of “Secret Life of Pets 2,” including Kevin Hart and Patton Oswalt, remember some of the first dogs they ever had in a video celebrating the holiday.
