Marcus Mumford’s First Video Was Directed By Steven Spielberg

After over 50 years of directing some of the biggest blockbusters in Hollywood history, Steven Spielberg has added “Marcus Mumford music video” to his list of directorial projects. Spielberg directed and shot the video for Mumford’s debut solo track, “Cannibal,” using his smartphone.

He wasn’t the only celeb behind-the-scenes, with Spielberg’s wife, Kate Capshaw, acting as dolly grip, art director, and producer for the single-take clip. Mumford posted a pic on Instagram showing the director shooting the video while Capshaw pushes the office chair he’s sitting in while Mumford plays guitar and sings.

In addition, Marcus’ wife, actress Carey Mulligan, handled costuming and sound.
