Evanescence Shares Fleetwood Mac Cover

Evanescence has paid tribute to Fleetwood Mac with their latest single. The band has shared their epic rendition of the group’s hit “The Chain.”

The band has given Fleetwood Mac’s original a Gothic makeover with the rocking track complete with an orchestral backing. The cover was recorded for the new video game sequel “Gears 5,” which singer Amy Lee says was a big inspiration.

“We love Fleetwood Mac and wanted to paint a dark and epic picture with our take,” Lee adds. “The lyrics make me feel the power of standing together against great forces trying to pull us apart, perhaps even from the inside.”
