Coldplay Release Two New “Everyday Life” Tunes

Coldplay Release Two New “Everyday Life” Tunes

Coldplay’s new double album “Everyday Life” drops tomorrow, and they’ve just shared two more songs from the record.

The band debuted “Daddy,” along with a visually stunning animated video created by Aardman Studios and directed by Åsa Lucander. It features “live action puppetry, digitally painted sets and 2D animation.”

The second is the tune “Champion of the World,” which was inspired by “Los Angeles, Be Kind,” a song by the late Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison. Hutchinson is actually given a co-writing credit on the Coldplay tune.

Hutchinson, who would have turned 37 yesterday, died in May.
