Coldplay Announce Special Concert Live Stream Of New Album

Coldplay is celebrating the release of their new double album, “Everyday Life, with a very special live stream concert. The UK band is set to play the album in its entirety in Amman, Jordan with the concert airing on YouTube in two parts.

“Coldplay: Everyday Life – Live in Jordan” will kick off November 21st at 11 pm EST , with the band playing the “Sunrise” portion of the album. The start time will be just about sunrise in Jordan. Then, they’ll follow it up with the “Sunset” portion, which will air November 22nd at 6 pm GST (9 am EST), which is sunset in Jordan.

“These two broadcasts have been our dream since we first started work on this album,” the band said in a statement. “It’s a bit impossible and a bit scary, like all the best dreams. YouTube is the perfect home for it.”

“Everyday Life” is set to drop November 22nd.

  • Oh, and  the band released a video of a fake press conference announcing the concert, in which they are questioned by Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.

  • ONE MORE THING! Coldplay were the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, where they treated the audience to a joyous performance of their new single “Orphans,” and debuted the title track to their new album “Everyday Life.” Then, immediately after the performance of the title track they released it for fans.
